Summer Time
06/24/2011
Dear Looks Unlimited Customers,
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. It sure is going by fast. First of all, I would like to thank each and every one of you that sent a card, came to the funeral home, the funeral, or even just said a kind word in regards to the passing of my father, Francis Soehnel. It was all heartfelt and greatly appreciated.
Now that we are fully into the summer, I would like to share a few tips for taking care of your hair and skin throughout these next few months. Using a hair product that has UV protection is very beneficial. We offer different products for that such as: Potion 9 Lite (a leave in conditioner spray) or Mouse Forte (a medium hold mouse that provides lots of shine and smoothing benefits). We would also like to recommend deep conditioning treatments in the salon about every 4 weeks throughout the summer so your hair will not get dried out from the sun or chlorine if you swim.
We also offer BioElements Day Face moistuzer, a lightweight, non-greasy lotion with SPF 15. It’s great for wearing under foundation or by itself. You should apply it to the neck and chest as well as the face. This will help keep your skin moist and protected from the damaging sun rays.
Do you have real curly, frizzy, or unruly hair, especially during the summer? Then you should consider getting a keratin smoothing treatment, (similar to the Brazilian Blowout but WITHOUT the dangerous fumes) or a permanent relaxer (Hair stays straight until it grows out). You can also try the express keratin that last last about 4 weeks. All of these treatments make the hair more manageable. Ask your stylists if one of these might be right for you.
If you mention this e-mail we will give you 15% off the three products mentioned or 15% off a keratin/conditioning treatment.
Check out our web site for all stylist’s upcoming vacations. For any of you wondering, Gwen is now back to work and doing well. Thank Goodness! Happy fourth of July to everyone and have a safe and fun holiday!
Warm regards,
Susan and all the staff at Looks
